A passion for writing and travel

I decided to launch All Around The Word when I saw a need for specialist copywriting services to support travel companies and startups. Growing a business can be challenging, especially on a tight budget. Finding someone to take care of your content can be a huge relief. My story

In my 20s I decided to combine my love of creative copywriting with my lifelong passion for travel. I worked as an in-house Editor and Publishing Manager at Footprint Handbooks for a decade, before branching out to work freelance.

As well as producing dozens of travel guides for Footprint, I’ve created print and digital content for a number of high-profile companies including Google, Telegraph Travel, Time Out, Bradt, Journey Latin America, Explore Worldwide, i-escape, Kip Hideaways and Where The Wild Is.

I specialise in crafting engaging website copy and SEO-optimised marketing content including travel articles, blogs, destination guides, hotel reviews, travelogues, itineraries and newsletters.

Having visited more than 80 countries (including epic overland trips from Bristol to Sydney and Bristol to Cape Town, with the help of a big orange Land Rover), I’m something of a travel expert and there’s a good chance I’ll have some insider knowledge of your destination.
